Grease Traps and Separators (Sanigrease)

A grease separator receives wastewater from kitchens and food-preparation areas. Inside the tank, heavier particles settle in the sludge trap, while fats and grease separate from the water and remain in the separator compartment. This helps reduce the amount of grease entering the drainage system.

Sanigrease S PA is an indoor grease separator available in five nominal sizes: NS 2, 4, 7, 10 and 15. Its rotomoulded polyethylene tank is lightweight, rigid and corrosion-resistant. The unit is only 700 mm wide, and its inlet and outlet can be positioned on either side to suit the installation layout.

The grease level, sludge accumulation and operating components should be checked regularly. Emptying and cleaning intervals depend on the volume of wastewater and grease entering the separator. A grease separator should be considered for commercial kitchens, restaurants, canteens and other food-service facilities that discharge wastewater containing fats, oils and food residues. The appropriate solution depends on the wastewater flow, grease load and installation requirements.

When the grease reaches the maximum permitted level, an alarm is activated. The operator connects the discharge hose and starts the emptying cycle from the control panel. The mixer combines the water, grease and deposits before the pump empties the separator. Water is then supplied to support complete emptying and refill the tank.

Sanigrease products come with a standard two-year warranty from the purchase date shown on the VAT invoice. Warranty coverage applies when the product is purchased through the official sales network and installed, operated and maintained according to SFA Pumps Vietnam’s instructions.
