Candidate privacy policy

SFA Vietnam Co., Ltd. (a member of SFA Group – Société Française d'Assainissement), located at TITAN TOWER, 70-72-74 Street 37, An Phu Ward, Thu Duc City, HCMC, Vietnam, collects and processes your personal data during the recruitment process to manage future employment opportunities.

1. What is the purpose of processing your data?

Your data is processed solely to manage recruitment and/or employment contract procedures, including: 

- Receiving and screening applications (CVs, cover letters).

- Creating a candidate database (with consent).

- Sourcing from job platforms or recruitment agencies.

- Interview assessment (in person or online).

- Preparing personnel files for successful candidates.

2. What categories of data will be collected and processed?

We only collect data necessary to assess your fit for the position, including:

• Personal identification: Full name, email, phone number, date of birth.
• Education and qualifications.
• Skills and work experience relevant to the position.

Failure to provide required information may result in exclusion from the recruitment process.

With your consent, we may collect disability status (if any) to provide necessary support.

If hired, further documents will be requested as required by law (e.g., ID card, social insurance number).
Data may be collected directly from you or via third parties (e.g., job platforms, headhunters).

3. How long will your data be kept?

Successful candidates: Data will be stored in HR files and retained for up to 5 years after contract termination (for legal and evidential purposes).

• Unsuccessful candidates: Data retained for 3 months for feedback purposes.
• With consent: Data stored for up to 2 years for future opportunities.
  After the retention period, data will be deleted or anonymized.

4. Who has access to the data collected during the examination of your application?

Your application will be kept confidential. Only relevant departments involved in the recruitment process will have access:

• Executive Management
• Executive Assistant
• Head of Recruitment
• HR Department

If hired, some data may be shared with social security or insurance organizations.

5. What are your rights and how can you exercise them?

You have the right to:

• Access your data
• Request corrections
• Request deletion
• Restrict processing
• Object to processing
• Data portability
• Decide how your data is handled after death
