Submersible Pumps (Sanisub)
Sanisub is an essential piece of equipment for managing water in various domestic and industrial applications. Designed to be submerged in water, it allows for the pumping and evacuation of large volumes, whether from a well, a pit, or a tank.
Any questions ?
Sanisub is a submersible pump designed to operate directly in the water being pumped. Its motor drives an impeller that draws water into the unit and pushes it through a discharge pipe or hose. Because the pump is submerged, it does not need to be primed before operation.
The Sanisub range includes models for clean water, rainwater, grey water and lightly contaminated water. The permitted particle size, water temperature and level of contamination vary between models, so these factors must be checked before selecting a pump.
The main selection criteria include the type of water, maximum particle size, required flow rate, pumping height, immersion depth and desired residual water level. The installation should also be checked for the available power supply, discharge pipe size and space required for the float switch to move freely.
Depending on the selected model, Sanisub can be used to drain flooded basements, garages, rainwater pits, tanks, swimming pool surrounds, spa areas, laundry floors or lift shafts. The range includes options for both residential and commercial drainage requirements.
Sanisub should not be selected for pumping raw toilet wastewater without technical verification. A suitable model may be used for settled effluent leaving a septic tank if the liquid and remaining particles are within the pump’s technical limits. Raw black water containing toilet waste should be pumped using a dedicated sewage solution such as Sanipump or Sanicubic.
Many Sanisub models are equipped with a float switch that automatically starts the pump when the water reaches a specified level and stops it after the level falls. Automatic operation depends on correct installation, an available power supply and sufficient space for the float switch to move without obstruction.
